Details, details

Everyone’s asking me for details which I didn’t have. Now, all of a sudden, they’re flooding in. So here goes for all you detail freaks: Today I heard from the Educational Adviser for the Fulbright-Hays Greece Bulgaria Program. We will have our orientation meetings in Chicago from May 29 to May 31. In Bulgaria we will be attending lectures, museums, art galleries, and dining at restaurants with cool names. (I wonder what the food will be like.) We’ll eat at the Hassienda, the Happy Bar and Grill, and the Pri Yafata. Eating seems to be an important feature of the schedule. (That’s a good thing!) We’re scheduled to visit the famous Rila Monastery, tour Sofia, and travel to Varna on the Black Sea. Those are a few of the scheduled events. I’ll update you more as I receive more information. Keep checking this site. Bulgaria schedule

Congrats, Bob. We didn’t know you’d been selected to be a Fulbright!!! Good for you!!!! This sounds very exciting.
Perhaps you’ve heard that I’m in almost daily communication with a Fulbright (grad)scholar at West Chester University from Ramallah (Palestine), and through her met a guy who had been a USA Fulbright to India.
In the conversations with Rania, I know that she was given VERY LITTLE info from Fulbright prior to her arrival here. It seems that you’ve been treated much better. Have you been given names of previous Fulbright-ers with whom you might chat? Would you like the name of the guy I met??
Let me know if you’d like me to hook you up. Again, congratulations!
